Gallows
West

Gothic Western songs for haunted highways, blood-red rivers, and the ghosts that never quite leave town.

The apparition

Old sins. New ghosts.

Gallows West is the newest creative chapter from Nashville producer, songwriter, and artist Stacy Hogan, joined by his wife and vocalist Lauren Hogan. The project moves through dusty outlaw folk, gothic western atmosphere, cinematic alt-rock, and ghost-story Americana.

Originating as a project to give voice to Tanner Banks, the lead character in Scott Saxberg’s novel Cadillac Wheels, Gallows West has since become its own shadowed world — part ghost story, part modern gothic western songcraft, and part cinematic Americana.

Its first official single, Where the River Turns Red, introduces the world in full: dark, romantic, strange, and haunted — but built with a modern studio edge.

Where the River Turns Red

A dark alt-country/Americana anthem for opening credits, desert roads, haunted rivers, and the part of the map the preacher warned you not to visit.

For listeners who like their Americana cinematic, their westerns a little gothic, and their choruses rising out of the dust like a bad omen.
